Royal Gorge/Skyline RideDate- August 14, 2010Start Time- 9 AM Meeting Place- Grand Prix Motorsports, just off of Santa Fe and North of C470  Ride Classification- Moderate  Ride Leader- Nancy Stern-Jude Proposed Route-This is a long ride, so we will be looking to get a prompt start. The ride is approximately 270 miles. We willstart by heading down Hwy. 285 to Fairplay for gas and a break, then will head down Hwy. 9 to join Hwy. 50 just west of the Royal Gorge. We will ride across the bridge (and back) and then move on to have lunch in Canon City. From there, we will head towards Colorado Springs where we will join I-25 for a short trip to Monument. From there, we will head on the back roads through Sedalia and back into Denver. In order to get any kind of group discount at the Royal Gorge, I will need to have a headcount at least 2 weeks prior to our arrival, so please let me know ASAP if you are planning to go on this ride.Be sure to bring your camera and extra cash to enter the Gorge.
