Proposed Route-

This ride requires pre-registration and pre-payment for a HAM patch and rocker. See the our website for more information
on becoming a HAM. The cost of the ride will depend on whether or not you already have a HAM patch.

We will start off at the Conoco gas station in Morrison and then travel to Jefferson County Road 73 north to I-70. We will
then head west on I-70 to Hwy. 6 to traverse the first pass, Loveland (elev.11,990 ft). We will then get back on I-70
again heading west. Between Frisco and Vail on I-70 we’ll cross over the second pass, Vail (elev.10,660 ft). We will
continue west on I-70 till we reach Hwy. 24 (exit 173) towards the town of Minturn. While on Hwy. 24 we will cross over
the third pass, Tennessee (elev.10,424 ft). Continue towards Leadville where there are many good places to sit and have
a hot lunch in town.

We will back track thru Leadville and take Hwy. 91 north over the fourth pass, Fremont (elev.11,318 ft). We’ll continue
on Hwy. 91 and then merge back on to I-70 this time headed east. We will take the Main Street exit (exit 201), go thru
the town of Frisco and make a right on Hwy. 9 (south) towards Breckenridge. After Breckenridge we will climb up to the
fifth pass, Hoosier (elev. 11,541 ft) and then continue on to village of Fairplay where we will intersect with Hwy. 285.
We will take Hwy. 285 north towards Denver and it will not be long before we reach the sixth and final pass of the day,
Kenosha (elev.10,000 ft). When we reach Hwy. 8 close to town, we will follow Hwy. 8 back to Morrison and end our day there.

Ride length is about 270 miles and takes about 8 hours including gas stops and lunch break in Leadville. This is a HAM
qualifying ride! Total of elevation of all passes equals 65,935 feet.
