Xtreme Performance Ride is Way Too HOT!!!

Nancy Stern-Jude - August 13th 2007

Saturday morning was already hot by the time it was 9:30 a.m. and the donuts were ready were saying EAT ME. I got to visit with Lou Sepulveda (former CC Rider member) who was trading in his Harley for a Victory - even his wife Debbie thinks he has lost his mind. They were building the bike when I left.

I headed down Sante Fe to Gran Prix where it was pretty busy - decided to head on down the road to Fay Meyers where I got to wander around the showroom and check out the parts and products area. I tried on a couple of helmets and then headed up Arapahoe to Parker Road. I turned on Pine Lane and went over to the new Mile Hi Harley-Davidson store. As I was checking my voicemails, Bob Lane (former CC Rider member) rode up.

We talked for a few minutes and I reminded him where we were having our meetings and asked him to attend on Monday. His cousin works in the parts department at H-D. I walked in and got to check it out. Nice facility and they did have some bikes. I got the impression they are there to pick up on the repair end of the business.

When I walked back outside, I realized it was now 1:30 and it was really HOT. The decision was made and I headed to the nearest Subway where I had something to drink and eat. I then headed south on Parker Road to Bayou near Ponderosa High School and then took the scenic route back to Parker where I headed on home.

Yes it was hot and no, I didn't get lost.
