Brrrr.
There were record low temperatures-and snow in many parts of the city-for the toy run this year. At about 20F at the beginning of the ride (about 12F when we left our house)-it was a cold one this year.
Despite the weather, over 1200 bikers registered to ride this year. The parking lot was not the sea of bikes that is has been in the past-and the Champs was doing brisk business in coffee and hot drinks.
Mark and I went-and all I can say is that I am glad for my fairing and heated grips! Mark was less grateful as he has neither. :<
We did have a good time; however, this year we were happy about how short the ride is. If it had been much longer, we might have been frozen in our saddles until the spring thaw!
