05-14-2005 Runza Ride

Mark led this one for Patty.
Kathy had a minor accident and broke her wrist. Ron escorted her home-thanks Ron!
The ride headed up to the runza-then on to ice cream at Glacier in Boulder (Mark leading the ride, and it ended up stopping for ice cream at Glacier-what a shock!). The weather cooperated and it was very nice for the ride.
We did meet up with a Longmont police officer-who showed off his new HD Police Bike. He also showed off his skills with a peg-scraping very low-speed U-turn to get out of the Runza lot. We tried to get him to go ride with us and have ice cream-but he said they would notice if he was gone all day. He did, however, escort us part of the way out of town.
