Palmer Lake Adventure Sunday July 11

We met aT FRANKTOWN Stagecoach Bar; left at 10:45 w/9 bikes; Charles,Darrel;Jeanette;Penny;Lynn;Stephen;Nancy;Rick and lead Gary M. rode east to Castle Rock;south thru town to E. Lake Gulch road; went around Castlewood Canyon state park and out onto Hiwy 83 south; then cut across east on Palmer Lake rd over I-25 into Palmer Lake;stopped at Farmer's market by Lake. Then ate lunch at Palmer Lake "Depot" restaurant. socialized; then split up; Gary M lead group of 5 south to Garden of Gods; had ICE CREAM at newly remodeled Trading Post at bottom of Garden of gods; hard scoop ice cream.!
Just did beat the rain back up I-25. Fun time had by all.Lynn has some pictures coming.
