Ride to Lunch Tue. 22nd 2010

The forcast was for temps in the 90's, so we met at Morrison Conoco at 9AM and left on time. Seven bikes and riders: Charles, Stephen, Ron, Gordon(who took a day off to celebrate his birthday by riding),Dotti, Bud, and myself. We planned on taking US40 as far as we could to stay off the Slab, but since I missed the first turn we took the slab up to where they meet. Then on I-70 to US6 and up to the top of Loveland Pass. It was cold and windy up there and down the other side. We went across the back side of Dillon Res. on Swan Mtn Rd. and Hwy 9 to Breckinridge. As usual for the last 40 years they are working on the road and more construction in town. We enjoyed a very good lunch at Mi Casa. We headed South on Hwy. 9 and over Hoosier pass. Turned East on US285 and enjoyed a nice uneventrful ride home.
