04-11-2009 Ft Vasquez Ride

We were a small (Lynn, Jerry and Myself) but hardy (it was in the 40's) group that met at MotoGear. True to her word Mary had coffee and doughnuts ready so there was plenty for all. We looked around a little and headed out to say thanks to two of our other sponsors, Top Gun and Sun. At Top Gun we learned the origin of the vintage NFL posters; the building was at one time part of the Bronco's training facilities and these posters had lay hidden since the early 80's. From Sun we headed out along Riverdale Rd in Thornton and then up to Ft Vasquez. After stopping for a few minutes there we headed west to Longmont for lunch and then we headed home.
